Welcome Doctor You are here Faculty at major US medical centers trust us to send them medical legal consulting referrals. Just tell us you're interested -- that's it!

Our unique referral service has powerful benefits for you.

  • Integrity We're doctors too, so first and most important is integrity -- yours and ours. We do not shop opinions. We'll never call you about a case until after the attorney signs our contract indicating the expert we send is going to give their full and honest opinion, regardless of whether that helps or hurts the attorney's case.

  • FREE The attorney pays our finder's fee.

  • Fast & Easy All our communication with you is doctor to doctor.

  • Confidential & Safe Your name is not published in any book or directory and it certainly isn't posted on the web. We'll never give your name to anyone until we've asked you first, on a case by case basis.

  • Fascinating

  • Without obligation You take only the cases you want. You are welcome to turn down any case, and time, for any reason -- or no reason at all.

  • A chance for you to earn good money. Physician experts typically earn $200 to $800 per hour for their time -- with no overhead. And unlike other referral agencies, we don't skim any of the money you earn. You earned it, you keep it.

Referrals are fast, easy or safe.

How our referrals work, step-by-step
1 An attorney calls us saying, "I need a physician expert witness board certified in X" We make the attorney sign a contract indicating, help his case or hurt it, you are going to give your full and honest opinion.
2 One of our doctors calls you to describe the case and to get your OK for the referral. If you want the case great, if not, no hard feelings.
3 Once we have your thumbs up, we fax the attorney your CV and fee schedule.

The attorney reviews your qualification and fees and calls you to arrange the logistics of getting you the records and your money. From here on, you work directly with the attorney. We don't take any of the money you earn.

Honesty. It's our policy. We know it's yours to.What the attorney expects and needs from you
Honesty
. It's our policy. We know it's yours too. Remember, the attorney has signed a contract indicating you are going to give your full and honest opinion. Besides the obvious benefits to you, this system works to select cases for you that are valid and worthwhile.
Expert testimony
1

Record review. The attorney sends you the records, you review them and tell him whether there was malpractice. He may also need a letter or affidavit of merit from you.

If you agree there was malpractice, count on moving on to steps two and three:

2 Your deposition Often done in your office or, if you'd rather, in the office of a court reporter in your town. Some depositions will be out of town. Cases very often settle after each side has used depositions to see the cards the other side is holding.
3 Trial testimony -- only if the case goes this far. Usually in the city / state where the suit was filed. You'll most likely have to travel to testify, but this stage is months away so you'll be able to adjust your professional schedule to avoid conflicts. Most docs charge a flat daily rate for travel, plus expenses.
